CALLING WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS AGE 40+!
On Friday, November 24, 2023, the New Voices Family will host the New Voices Pitch Competition sponsored by AARP at the Business at Bayou event, in conjunction with the Bayou Classic in New Orleans, LA, at the Hyatt Regency. This in-person pitch competition will award five grants (one of each) – $25,000, $20,000, $15,000, $10,000, and $5,000 – combined with personalized business skill development, coaching, and mentoring for each winner 3-6 months post-competition.
Application deadline is Sunday, October 22, 2023, 11:59 pm ET.
The 2023 New Voices Pitch Competition is open to entrepreneurs who meet the following criteria:
- Majority ownership by a woman founder 40 years of age or older.
- The business must be registered and operating legally.
- Incorporated business for at least two years.
- The entrepreneur must be a US resident.
- Evidence of customer traction and market validation.
Pitch competition winners will be guaranteed placement in the New Voices Foundation’s 2024 Madam CJ Walker PACE Bootcamp, helping to ensure their businesses’ long-term viability and sustainability.
