Announcing our 2024 PACE Bootcamp Pitch Competition Winners!

Black People Will Swim’s Paulana Lamonier is the Grow & Scale Cohort WINNER of our PACE Bootcamp Pitch Competition, taking home $5,000! Her mission to smash the stereotype that Black people don’t swim is inspiring communities to FACE their fears and embrace the water.

And, Body by Love’s Camille Newman is the Launch & Execute Cohort WINNER of our PACE Bootcamp Pitch Competition, receiving a prize of $2,500! Body by Love’s innovative approach to luxury bath towels ensures inclusivity for all body types and anyone who loves plush, generously sized towels, transforming the bathing experience for all.

The annual Madam CJ Walker PACE Bootcamp is a 13-week VIRTUAL entrepreneurship training program where 40 entrepreneurs engaged with an inspiring community, weekly business coaching, and a rigorous, experiential learning process that catalyzed innovative thinking and enabled them to further launch and execute AND grow and scale their businesses.

The Bootcamp culminated with a Pitch Competition for both cohorts, Launch & Execute and Grow & Scale, which was expertly judged by LaToya Stirrup, KAZMALEJE; Dorian Morris, Undefined Beauty; and Neil Hudson, Scotch Boyz.
